Our company was conceived to bring unprecedented efficiency to the financial and backoffice operations of healthcare providers. The cost pressures affecting healthcare in the US are well-documented and a matter of profound national concern. And our staff in India have an education level that is considerably higher than staff performing comparable functions in the US. World Class Infrastructure
When clients outsource their services to RevenueMed, we realize that they are entrusting their revenue lifeblood to an “outsider.” We have therefore taken exceptional precautions to ensure that our services run reliably and securely.
Resilience:
RevenueMed’s data processing centers are designed to run 365 days per year. In fact, since initial operations, our firm has never lost a day of productive service. All computers are on an Uninterruptible Power Supply. We are based on a reliable power grid. Our offices have full backup diesel power generators. We maintain spare parts on-site for key servers and other components. We maintain redundant high speed Internet connections. Our two main production facilities are approximately 35 miles from one another, on different power grids and with different topographical features and weather patterns. We have architected resilience into our services from their inception.
Security:
RevenueMed’s business is exclusively the processing of sensitive healthcare data. Given the inherent sensitivities of such data, we have designed a service infrastructure that virtually erases the risk of data being compromised from physical and data security risks. All of our production staff work from supervised facilities (as opposed to working unsupervised from home.) Our offices are behind guarded perimeter fences and have separate 24 hour security guards at each office entrance. Access to production facilities is controlled via compartmentalized keycard control and is subject to 24 hour video surveillance. Access to service rooms requires 3-factor authentication. PCs have disabled USB ports, floppies, and CD drives; print screen copying is disabled at the operating sytem’s Registry level. Production staff have no access to printers or email – in fact, most of our operations are completely paperless. When it comes to safeguarding Protected Health Information, our safeguards routinely exceed the most stringent policies of our customers or of competitors.
Service Breadth
RevenueMed’s capabilities span the healthcare revenue cycle. We can provide chart workflow redesign, remote coding services, charge entry, remittance processing, denials workflow and A/R follow-up. A growing number of other vendors actually subcontract their work to us, recognizing our superior economics and service quality.
By working with a firm of such breadth and capability, healthcare providers can expect services that ultimately integrate with one another in synergistic ways. For example, although a hospital’s initial pain point might be coding backlog, RevenueMed’s services for charge audit or denials management could actually build upon the coding experience to harvest value where the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts.
Offices
RevenueMed’s headquarters is in Norcross, a northern suburb of Atlanta.
We have two wholly-owned production facilities in India. The first, at Technopark in Trivandrum, Kerala, is sited within India’s largest and most prestigious setting for IT-related services. 
Our second and newest facility is sited in Tamil Nadu, towards the southern end of India. We custom-architected this facility for our purposes and are proximate to five colleges and universities, affording ready access to a qualified workforce.
Both of our facilities in India are in particularly lovely settings. They are characterized by sweeping expanses of coconut palm and banana plantations, beautiful vistas over sea and mountains and a moderate but tropical climate. The literacy rate in our region is over 97% and there is virtually no poverty. We encourage our clients to visit, when possible.
