How it works – hospitals & physicians

To use our coding services, hospital or physician clients scan their medical records using simple scanning steps and high-capacity technology that is provided by RevenueMed. Once the documents are scanned, they are stored and routed electronically, using HIPAA-compliant security, to our pool of high quality coding staff in the US and elsewhere. We can either enter your codes directly into your medical abstracting system or arrange for electronic interfaces to do so. We provide extensive reporting to allow our customers to track job location, quality and turn-around times. We also offer rigorous Service Level guarantees to ensure consistent quality and reliability.

How it works – insurance companies & TPAs

RevenueMed’s coders have deep knowledge of both diagnostic and procedure coding. They also understand medical necessity and the specific rules that govern any given managed care contract. We can build competency to work with virtually any information system and operate as an “Extended Business Office” for the insurer.
